Description:
PWS is a non-toxic granular product designed to absorb petroleum based liquids. The product swells to form a gel that is incinerable to <2% ash.
 

Use:

PWS is used effectively when responding to petrochemical spills on water or land. It is used to solidify spilled and waste hydrocarbon liquids for safer handling and safer transportation. It will quickly encapsulate a wide array of petroleum products such as:

  ▪ diesel fuel

▪ gasoline
  ▪ transformer oil ▪ transmission fluid
  ▪ lube oil ▪ hydraulic fluid
  ▪ crude oil ▪ oil based paints & inks

  ▪ jet fuel

▪ lacquer thinner

PWS is lightweight, clean and efficient. It has a superior price performance ratio, resulting in lower transportation and storage costs, less work to apply and retrieve, lower volume of waste and a lower mass of waste resulting in lower disposal costs.
 

Toxicity:
PWS is not hazardous as defined by OSHA under its hazard communication standard (HCS) 29 CFR1910.1200
