Description:

LWS is a non-toxic, odorless, granular product specifically developed to absorb water-based and emulsified liquids. The product swells to form a tight gel that holds water molecules even under pressure.
 

Use:

LWS is used effectively to solidify a variety of aqueous solutions for Safer Handling,           Safer Transportation and Reduced Disposal Costs, such as:

  water based industrial sludges

 

  latex paint

  medical waste

  ink

  low level radioactive liquid waste

Economical:

Disposal and transport costs can be reduced by as much as 50% when using LWS to convert liquid waste to a solid. It can rapidly absorb up to 300 times its weight in water and expands in volume by less than 1%
 

Toxicity:

LWS is non toxic and non biodegradable. It is one of a family of products that has undergone extensive testing for applications ranging from agriculture to personal hygiene.    It is not regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) nor the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulation (TDGR) and is also not listed under SARA section 313.
 

Easy to use:

LWS is supplied in 24oz shakers, 20lb pails, 40lb bags and 2,000lb bulk supersacs.         No special training is required, simply add directly to the liquid and agitate.
